It wasn’t my fault…

My hosting company, WebHost4Life.com, recently migrated my hosting account onto some new servers with newer improved hosting administration tools and such.  They made this move on May 31st.  Since then they all reported this error:

HTTP Error 403.6 – Forbidden: IP address of the client has been rejected.
Internet Information Services (IIS)

After a month of dealing with their help desk technical specialists, today July 1st, my web sites are now working.  A full month of my sites not working.  Good thing I am not trying to run a business with any of them.  There only comment regarding the problem or resolution was…

We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you. I have reconfigured your domain on the server. Currently, all the domains are working fine without any errors.

If it wasn’t for me being so busy and having too much already hosted here that would take more time then I wanted to take to move all the sites to another hosting company… I would have moved to a new hosting company.  That was just ridiculously too long for something that sounded like a simple fix.

  1. Webhost4life gave us the same treatment. We’ve moved almost all our sites off there. Two are left and they are going soon.

They are not professional and really don’t care because they have a large customer base.

Cheap hosting = risky = beware!
